MUSCAT : Organised in collaboration with the European Union Delegation to the Sultanate of Oman, Nama Group, and the EU-GCC Cooperation on Green Transition Project, the two-day forum will focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation in renewable energy and water resource management—key pillars of sustainable development.

Under the theme “Advancing Sustainability through Innovation & Investment,” the forum aims to exchange best practices in environmental policy, promote technological innovation, and attract European investment in Oman’s green infrastructure projects.
The programme features several sessions covering cutting-edge topics, including smart grids, energy storage, digital transformation in utilities, water efficiency strategies, and green financing mechanisms. Delegates will also explore successful European models and innovations that can be adapted to the Omani context.
The forum is expected to pave the way for a joint roadmap for long-term sustainable cooperation, foster public-private partnerships, and position Oman as a regional hub for sustainable energy and water solutions.
It is worth noting that the forum represents a pivotal milestone in the cooperation between the two sides, reflecting their commitment to transforming environmental challenges into development opportunities that serve future generations and enhance the region’s environmental and economic security.
