Muscat: Emergency response teams from the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority in Muscat Governorate rushed to the site of a partial collapse involving a residential-commercial building in Baushar following reports of an explosion.
Preliminary findings suggest that a momentary gas leak in a restaurant kitchen triggered the explosion, leading to the structural failure. Tragically, two Asian expats lost their lives in the incident.
The Civil Defense Authority teams promptly evacuated the area and worked to secure the site while providing emergency medical care. Authorities have launched a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause and assess any safety lapses.
