US President Trump praises GCC countries’ ‘progress, unity and friendship’

RIYADH: US President Donald Trump joined Gulf leaders as the Gulf-US Summit kicked-off in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.

Speaking at the summit, Trump said: “The Gulf nations,” he says, “are at the forefront of creating a stable, peaceful and prosperous Middle East.”

“I have to say I’ve seen such progress. It’s incredible,” he adds. “I’ve also seen such unity and friendship.”
