Muscat – The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion has announced that anti-dumping duties, implemented across Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, targets specific products falling under customs tariff codes 853669, 853650, 85444291, and 85444221.
The duties will take effect from June 8, 2025, for a period of five years, in accordance with the details outlined in the decision published in Issue No. 47 of the Official Gazette of the Technical Secretariat for Anti-Injurious Practices. The Gazette is available on the website of the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) at www.gcc-sg.org.
The decision to impose these duties is based on a complaint filed by the Gulf industry under the Unified Law (Regulation) on Anti-Dumping, Countervailing, and Safeguard Measures of the GCC States and its Executive Regulations, issued by Royal Decree No. 20/2015.
