MUSCAT : According to the ROP, the arrested individuals had defrauded several people by promoting the exchange of counterfeit foreign currency for legal tender at attractive rates.
During the exchange process, the perpetrators would seize the cash provided by the victims while supplying them with counterfeit foreign currency.
The ROP added that the legal procedures are being completed against them.
