MUSCAT : The travel health service offers pre- and post-travel guidance and preventive services to address travellers’ concerns.
The Ministry is encouraging travellers to visit the nearest primary healthcare centre or health complex at least 4 to 6 weeks prior to travel to benefit fully from the clinic’s services.
The Ministry emphasised that early consultation helps ensure travellers are well-prepared and protected against potential health threats during their journeys.
It may be noted that the travel health service was initiated by the health ministry in 2019 and implemented across all governorates of the Sultanate in 2022.
