Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Shehhi, Assistant Head of the Musandam Governor’s Office, noted that the event is a cornerstone in the region’s strategy to boost tourism and enrich the local experience. “The Musandam Carnival targets all segments of society, offering exciting entertainment activities and showcasing the region’s cultural wealth,” he said.

In addition to live performances and daily entertainment programs, the carnival also features a variety of food stalls, theatre events, and designated areas for small businesses and productive families to present their offerings in innovative ways.

Al Shehhi emphasised that the carnival plays a vital role in supporting SMEs and promoting local products, making it not only a tourist attraction but also an economic enabler. Organisers expect a strong public turnout throughout the week, further driving economic and cultural activity in the governorate.
