Muscat: Organised by the Musandam Governorate in collaboration with public and private entities, the five-day event marks a key highlight of the ongoing Musandam Winter Season.

The carnival was inaugurated under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Nawaf bin Barghash Al Said, and opened with artistic performances, diverse shows, and spirited competitions that lit up the coastal venue. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Hal Beach—famous for its sunsets and panoramic sea and mountain views—the carnival promises a lively celebration of Musandam’s tourism, culture, and creativity.

Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Shehhi, Assistant Head of the Musandam Governor’s Office, noted that the event is a cornerstone in the region’s strategy to boost tourism and enrich the local experience. “The Musandam Carnival targets all segments of society, offering exciting entertainment activities and showcasing the region’s cultural wealth,” he said.
