MUSCAT : In an official statement, the Authority extended its thanks to the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority, the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the office of the Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, as well as local citizens and volunteers, for their swift and coordinated response. Their combined efforts played a critical role in limiting the fire’s spread and reducing its environmental impact.
“The Authority emphasises the importance of this institutional and societal integration in confronting such environmental incidents, noting that this cooperation is a model to be emulated in crisis management,” stated the Authority.
Reaffirming its mission, the Authority stressed its ongoing commitment to environmental protection, the conservation of natural resources, and the enhancement of emergency preparedness and rapid response strategies in coordination with relevant agencies.
