RIYADH: The new timing coincides with the start of the third academic term following the Eid Al Fitr holiday. Regional education directorates, including those in Riyadh, Asir, and Al Baha, confirmed the move and outlined specific start times for schools in their jurisdictions.
In Riyadh, the morning assembly will begin at 6:15 am, with the first class starting at 6:30 am—a schedule set to remain in place until June 26, 2025 (1 Muharram 1447 AH). Asir schools will start slightly later, with the assembly at 6:45 am and classes beginning at 7:00 am. In Al Baha, schools will line up at 7:00 am, with instruction commencing at 7:15 am.
Education authorities across the Kingdom are urging full compliance with the new schedules, highlighting the importance of punctuality and discipline to ensure an effective learning environment.

The Ministry of Education has also called on parents and guardians to support students during the adjustment, encouraging timely attendance and academic focus as the academic year enters its final phase.
