Oman announces 9-day Eid Al Fitr holiday

In Oman the Eid Al Fitr holiday will start from Saturday, 29 March 2025 and will end on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Official working hours will now resume on Sunday, April 6. This will give employees both in public and private sector a 9-day break, combining the two weekends.

MUSCAT: As the first day of Eid Al Fitr falls on March 31, 2025 in Oman, both citizens and residents in the country will enjoy a nine-day break.

As per the directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Eid Al Fitr holiday will start from Saturday, 29 March 2025 and will end on Thursday, April 3, 2025. The official working hours will resume on Sunday, April 6, 2025. This will give employees a 9-day break, combining the two weekends.
