Muscat – The protocol amending the agreement focuses on the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income.
The protocol was signed in Muscat on 27 January 2025.
Article 1 of the Royal Decree No. 36/2025 ratifies the aforementioned protocol in accordance with the version attached to this decree.
Article 2 states that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
