MUSCAT : Addressing the session on ‘Between Market Supervision and Enforcement of Rights’ at the ‘Communication Dialogue’ series hosted by the Government Communication Centre, His Excellency highlighted the Consumer Protection Authority’s commitment to ensuring that markets are properly regulated.

The session focused on market control, methods for addressing consumer complaints, and the protection of consumer rights.

With Eid Al Fitr approaching, the Chairman noted that the Authority is intensifying its market inspections and monitoring campaigns to prevent price hikes and ensure that products remain readily available. He urged consumers to report any violations they observe and stressed the importance of being vigilant in the marketplace.
