Muscat – The exhibition is part of ongoing efforts to promote economic collaboration between Oman and Bahrain, in alignment with the goals of Oman Vision 2040 and Bahrain Vision 2030.
The exhibition features 30 exhibitors, including 17 from Oman and 13 from Bahrain, showcasing a wide array of products such as fashion, perfumes, incense, Omani frankincense, traditional sweets, accessories, handicrafts, heritage products, and household supplies. The event will run until Wednesday, March 26, and aims to strengthen the historical and cultural ties between the two nations, while supporting entrepreneurs, fostering new investment opportunities, and increasing trade exchange.
His Excellency Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al Kaabi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Oman, highlighted the exhibition’s significance, noting that it reflects the Bahraini government’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and increasing their contributions to the national economy. He emphasized that the event is a testament to the deep and growing relations between Oman and Bahrain, especially in the fields of trade and partnerships within the SME sector.
Radina bint Amer Al Hajriya, Chairwoman of the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association, emphasised the exhibition’s importance, stating that it is the result of close cooperation between the Bahrain Embassy and the Friendship Association. She noted that the exhibition aligns with the Association’s goal of supporting entrepreneurs and stimulating economic activity through exhibitions, seminars, and conferences. The Omani-Bahraini Bazaar in Muscat is the fourth such event organized by the Friendship Association, following the success of a similar exhibition held in January 2025 in Manama, Bahrain.
