Muscat – The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement marking the occasion, highlighting Oman’s enduring support for the League’s principles.
The statement highlighted the League’s pivotal role as a cornerstone of joint Arab action since its establishment in 1945. Oman, which joined the League in 1971, has consistently championed Arab unity and pursued a balanced and cooperative approach to regional and international affairs.
“The Sultanate of Oman has actively participated in various initiatives aimed at strengthening Arab unity and has worked to ensure the success of joint Arab action to achieve the interests and aspirations of the Arab peoples. On this occasion, the Sultanate of Oman affirms its support for the League of Arab States and all efforts aimed at developing the League’s work to keep pace with regional and global developments, and enhance its ability to achieve Arab integration in various fields, for a future of goodness and prosperity for the Arab world,” reads the Ministry statement.
