MUSCAT: ‘L2: Empuraan’, one of the most anticipated Mollywood releases of 2025, starring superstar Mohanlal and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran will release on March 27, 2025 worldwide including Oman.

The movie is the second instalment after ‘Lucifer’ and features Mohanlal in dual roles as Abraham Qureshi and Stephen Nedumpally. According to the listing at VOX Cinemas Oman, the first day show begins at 4:30am. The movie is also showing in IMAX. “Empuraan becomes the first-ever film from Malayalam Cinema industry to release in IMAX,” said actor-turned-director Prithviraj.

The movie also has a stellar cast, including Manju Warrier and Tovino Thomas, the film promises high-octane action, political intrigue, and larger-than-life storytelling.
