CHENNAI: Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman who was admitted to Chennai’s Apollo Hospital on Saturday night, has been discharged.
In a statement issued by the hospital, Rahman was
discharged following a routine checkup.
In an instagram story shared by his son AR Ameen, thanked people for their wishes and said that Mr. Rahman was hospitalised due to dehydration and that he was doing well after routine tests.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin, took to his official X handle to assure that Rahman is doing well. “As soon as I heard the news that Isaipuyal @arrahman had been admitted to the hospital due to ill health, I contacted the doctors and inquired about his health! They said he is fine and will be back home soon! (sic)“ he added.
