Ms. Aparna T.V., is our Physiotherapist with 8 years experience at Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Center and various Hospitals in India as well as in Oman. She graduated in Physiotherapy (BPT) from Lourde Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Thaliparambu Kuhas University, Kerala, India.
Ms. Zeinab Ahmadi Al Ashti, is our Physiotherapist with 8 years experience at various Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Centers and Hospital in Iran. She graduated in Physiotherapy (BPT) from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran and Master Degree in Physiotherapy (MPT) from University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation, Tehran, Iran.
Physiotherapy and rehabilitation aims mostly to help people regain and revitalize function of their body (especially musculoskeletal) using an exercise regime. Physiotherapists support people at all stages of life to recover from injury, reduce pain and stiffness, increase mobility, movement & ambulation to maximize function, quality of life incorporating physical, psychological, emotional and social wellbeing.
For this there are various methods that are applied in addition to exercises, like electrotherapy to relieve pain, reduce stiffness, increase muscle power etc. One or more of these treatment programmes may be preferred depending on the patient’s condition like, Cold therapy, Heat therapy, Deep heating electrical & electronic modalities (Ultrasound/ Short Wave Diathermy), Electrotherapy (Galvanic/ Faradic current, Russian current, Transcutaneous Electric Nerve Stimulation, Interferential therapy, Laser Therapy etc.) and Dry Needle Therapy.
