Omran Group invites tenders for several adventure tourism projects in Oman

Omran Group is inviting competent and experienced companies to participate in the Expression of Interest (EOI) process for the pre-qualification of various adventure and experience projects being developed across the Sultanate.

MUSCAT : The tender, which focuses on enhancing adventure tourism activities at multiple destinations nationwide, includes opportunities at Majlis Al Jinn Cave, Wadi Shab, and Ras Al Shajar Nature Reserve.
Projects under invitation include:

Majlis Al Jinn Cave Development:

• Auto Belay or Fan Descent Jump System: A controlled descent system to safely jump into the cave, regulating jumps and ensuring a smooth 150-meter descent to the cave base.

• Glass Bridges: Two glass bridges spanning the entrance of the cave, each 42 meters long, covering a total area of 343 square meters.

• Bungee Jumping & Sky Jump: A bungee jumping platform and sky jump will be installed at one of the three cave entrances of Majlis Al Jinn, offering thrill-seekers a high-adrenaline free-fall experience.

• Ascend and Descent Automated Seat Platform: A controlled platform system for ascending and descending, designed to transport groups into the cave from a height of 150-170 meters.

• Cave Projection Mapping: Advanced video mapping technology to create a dynamic and immersive storytelling experience across four cave walls.


• Cave Experience Design: Development of a 140 sqm immersive cave experience designed for children.

Wadi Shab Cave Development:

• Zipline: A 350-meter zigzag zipline with three free-standing towers.
• Via Ferrata: A 500-meter climbing route equipped with steel rungs and a continuous belay system.
• Gorge Swing: A 120-meter swing with a maximum 200-meter distance between canyons.
• Bridges, Walkways, Cliff Jumping & Hiking Trails: Featuring 250-300 meter bridges, 3 km hiking trails, and cliff jumping platforms with varying heights of 5m, 10m, and 15m.

Ras Al Shajar Nature Reserve Development:

• Sky Tower: An aerial viewing platform offering panoramic views of wildlife, standing 41 meters high with an open deck of 81 sqm.
• Indoor Experience Center: A 250 sqm center offering interactive exhibits and educational displays focused on wildlife conservation and environmental awareness.

Omran Group is seeking companies with proven technical expertise and a track record of successfully developing attraction projects to bring these ambitious adventure and experience concepts to life.
