BEIRUT: Lebanon’s reconstruction after Israel-Hezbollah war is expected to cost $11 billion, a report from the World Bank said.
According to the report, $3 billion to $5 billion from the total estimate will need to be publicly financed, including $1 billion alone for the country’s infrastructure.
“Private financing is required for about $6 to $8 billion of the costs, mostly in the housing, commerce, industry and tourism sectors,” the report added.

The conflict killed more than 4,000 people and injured over 16,600, while 1.3 million people were affected due to the war, with nearly 900,000 internally displaced
