LOS ANGELES: The film follows Palestinian activist Basel Adra as he documents the destruction of his hometown in Masafer Yatta, an area designated for military training. His footage gains international attention with the help of Israeli journalist Yuval Abraham, who joins the project to amplify Adra’s story.
The documentary triumphed over Porcelain War, Sugarcane, Black Box Diaries, and Soundtrack to a Coup d’État.
Filmed between 2019 and 2023, No Other Land captures firsthand footage of forced evictions and demolitions in Masafer Yatta. The film highlights the stark contrast in freedoms between Adra and Abraham—while Adra faces movement restrictions, Abraham, as an Israeli citizen, can travel freely.
