DUBAI: Saudi Arabian teacher Mansour bin Abdullah Al-Mansour has been awarded the $1 million Global Teacher Prize, recognizing his extraordinary contributions to education and community service.
The prestigious award, instituted by the Varkey Foundation in collaboration with GEMS Education, was presented by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum at the World Governments Summit in Dubai.
Al-Mansour, celebrated for his 3,000+ hours of volunteer work, has transformed the lives of countless students, especially gifted orphans.
