Muscat – This new phase aligns with the Ministry’s commitment to providing distinguished consular services and supporting the digital transformation goals outlined in Oman Vision 2040.
This service eliminates the need to visit the Sultanate of Oman’s missions in these countries to obtain certification services. The new electronic system aims to streamline the authentication process and offer a more convenient and efficient service for Omani nationals.
The electronic authentication service was initially introduced on January 23, 2025, in the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Kuwait. The Ministry plans to expand this service to other countries in the coming phases, as part of an ongoing effort to enhance consular services globally, in cooperation with Oman Post.
