MUSCAT : The cancellations, attributed to operational reasons, will be in effect from February 9th to 24th, 2025, affecting routes to Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Thiruvananthapuram and Mangalore.
As per online media reports, the airline’s announcement follows previously reported international service modifications for the first quarter of 2025. These broader changes, which include both reductions and suspensions of flights on specific routes, were based on a schedule comparison between December 15, 2024, and February 2, 2025. The modifications were expected to significantly impact international travel, particularly between India and destinations in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Reports indicate that Air India Express has adjusted multiple routes, reducing frequencies and temporarily suspending services to and from key Indian cities, including Delhi, Hyderabad, Kannur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tiruchchirappalli.
