Muscat – According to a press statement issued by the organisers, the Assarain Golf Classic, sponsored by Assarain Group of Companies, is a premier golfing event that offers amateur golfers the chance to compete in a professional tournament that follows international golfing standards. The Assarain Golf Classic is one of the largest and most prestigious tournaments organised by Ghala Golf Club each year, attracting a large number of players from across Oman and the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Expressing his support for golf in Oman, Ibrahim Al Wahaibi, Director of Assarain Group of Companies, and the pioneer of the Assarain Golf Classic, said: “We are committed to help the game flourish in Oman. The Assarain Golf Classic is a highly anticipated golfing tournament, one that the entire Golfing community in Oman looks forward to. The 36-hole competition is one of the largest golfing tournaments in the region and is open to all players with a verifiable handicap. Another not-to-be-missed attraction will be the colourful presentation ceremony planned for February 8 to felicitate the winners of different categories, with surprises waiting for the golfers.
