Muscat: The much-anticipated “Challenge and Discover” event kicked-off on Friday at the picturesque Wilayat of Wadi Bani Khalid. The trail, which runs through the stunning Wadi Bani Khalid – Taiwi Trail, features a mix of hiking, mountain camping, and cultural experiences.


Participants started their journey with a camping experience in the scenic village of Halout. On Friday, the adventure will continue toward the Niyabat of Taiwi, showcasing the region’s breathtaking landscapes and offering hikers a chance to connect with nature.


Beyond the thrill of exploration, the event focuses on important aspects of safety and security for hiking and mountain camping. It also aims to provide participants with a unique and enriching outdoor experience while promoting Oman’s natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.
