Mumbai: Vikrant Massey, a celebrated actor who has given numerous hits like 12th fail, Mirzapur, Haseen dilruba and Dil Dhadakne do among others, dropped a cryptic note on Instagram that has left fans shocked suggesting that he may be on his way to take a sabbatical or possibly a retirement from acting at 37.

One of his popular Hindi language films in 2023 was 12th Fail and the latest was Sabarmati Report. Both of these films garnered huge recognition for the actor, putting him in the limelight, with observers even suggesting that he was the next superstar in making. And then suddenly comes this announcement from Vikrant Massey. From the comments to the post it’s evident that many are wondering what has led him to take this decision. The post however makes certain personal references that appear to indicate that he has said he wants to: “ I realized it’s time to recalibrate and go back home. As a husband, father and a son. And also as an Actor.”
