Alizz Islamic Bank participates in Beijing Forum 2024

BEIJING : A delegation from Alizz Islamic Bank recently participated in the Beijing Forum 2024 in Beijing, China, themed ‘The Harmony of Civilizations and Prosperity for All’. The forum brought together global scholars to discuss development across civilisations.

The Beijing Forum is an international academic event that has been held annually since 2004. It is sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Government and is overseen by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. The Beijing Forum is co-sponsored by Peking University, Beijing Municipal Education Commission, and the Chey Institute for Advanced Studies.

Speaking about the visit Mr. Ghalib Al Khrausi, Head of Human Capital at Alizz Islamic Bank said. “At Alizz Islamic Bank we strongly believe in the importance of sharing knowledge and experiences to support the development of Islamic Banking both locally and globally. Knowledge sharing enables us to build on each other’s experiences and discoveries, it is a powerful tool that enables individuals and organisations to thrive in today’s knowledge-driven society. The forum was a great platform for all of us to transfer expertise, experience, and insights to unlock our full potential, foster innovation, and create a better future for all.”

Previously, Alizz Islamic Bank launched the first-of its-kind cultural exchange program in Oman by hosting 8 delegates from the Peking University on a short exchange program to serve as a platform of sharing knowledge between the two nations. The Bank has developed a comprehensive program through which the Chinese delegation gained knowledge of Oman, learned about Islamic banking, met several officials in different institutions and visited some historical landmarks in the Sultanate of Oman.
