MUSCAT : Just yesterday, the price was recorded at $72.25, reflecting ongoing volatility in the oil market.

This month, Oman crude oil’s average price for October reached $77.54 per barrel, a significant drop of $6.31 from September’s figures.

On the global stage, oil prices experienced a slight recovery today following a steep drop in the previous session. This rebound is largely attributed to a U.S. initiative aimed at purchasing oil to replenish its strategic reserves. Meanwhile, investors remain vigilant regarding ongoing developments in the Middle East, which continue to influence market dynamics.

Brent crude futures have increased by 44 cents, or 0.6%, to reach $71.86 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude has seen a similar rise of 45 cents, or 0.7%, bringing it to $67.83 per barrel.
