Muscat: The North Al Batinah Municipality launched a large-scale inspection operation in the Wilayat of Al Khabourah. During the campaign, 46 food and professional establishments were scrutinized, resulting in seven violations and 14 warnings to non-compliant businesses.
The crackdown saw the closure of three establishments for failing to meet the health standards enforced by the municipality. Additionally, 21 kilograms of food deemed unfit for consumption were destroyed as part of the operation.
The North Al Batinah Municipality has urged all food and professional establishments to adhere strictly to health regulations.
