AMMAN: A confident Oman under veteran coach Rashid Jaber will continue to ride the winning momentum when they face hosts Jordan in the Group B clash of the 2026 Fifa World Cup Asian Qualifiers at the Amman International Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Red Warriors fresh from drubbing Kuwait 4-0 at home last week for their maiden win Group B is expected to continue the “aggressive approach” against Jordan.
“We’re back in the competition after the victory, but Jordan will be a tough opponent,” said Jaber during the pre-match press conference in Amman on Monday.

The 60-year-old veteran was appointed as head coach last month following the sudden termination of Czech manager Jaroslav Silhavy.
“A strong team and a team that is confident in itself will eventually return to its path and will be able to make up for the points it lost. Everyone witnessed our victory against Kuwait,” added Jaber.
