Invest in Oman Hall attracts 29 investment projects worth RO 1.2 billion  

Since its launch in January 2023, the Invest in Oman Hall has successfully attracted 29 investment projects valued at a combined RO 1.2 billion.

Muscat – This one-stop platform serves as a gateway for investors, facilitating their exploration of investment opportunities in the Sultanate.

Operating under the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, the Invest in Oman Hall facilitates investor access to comprehensive resources, including qualitative investment incentives and skilled labour, across sectors such as renewable energy, technology, tourism, and food security.

Hafsa bint Salem Al Rashidi, Investor Relations Manager at Invest in Oman, highlighted that the hall has significantly attracted investments, particularly in the industrial sector, which includes the polysilicon factory project in Sohar Free Zone. It boasts an investment exceeding RO 520 million and is set to open in 2025.

The hall features representatives from 15 government institutions, streamlining the approval process for permits and licenses. Additionally, it houses a commercial bank and visa accreditation office, allowing investors to complete all necessary procedures in one location.

Rabab bint Mustafa Al Lawati, Director of the National Negotiation Team at the Invest in Oman Hall, emphasized the hall’s commitment to expediting investor procedures. Each investor is assigned a “relationship manager” to assist throughout their investment journey, ensuring a smooth experience from inception to implementation.

The Invest in Oman Hall is dedicated to continually enhancing its services and promoting Oman as a leading global investment destination, with a focus on aligning with emerging economic trends like renewable energy and technology. The hall aims to leverage digital platforms and international forums to showcase Oman’s competitive advantages, reinforcing its position in line with Oman Vision 2040.
