Muscat: The Red Warriors of Oman have taken an early advantage over Kuwait in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier, thanks to a well-executed goal from Abdul Rahman Al Mushaifri and Mohsen Al Ghassani.
From the opening whistle, Oman controlled the tempo of the match, displaying impressive passing and movement. Their efforts were rewarded in the 16th minute when Al Mushaifri found the back of the net with a clinical finish and a series of brilliant passes from his teammates and the second goal came in with a cheeky header at the 30th minute from Mohsen Al Ghassani with Oman tattering the Kuwaiti defence.
The goals have set the tone for the match, and Oman will be looking to build on their lead and secure a crucial victory in their quest for a place in the 2026 World Cup.
