The ambitious Al Khuwair Downtown and Waterfront Development Project, boasting a hefty $1.3 billion investment, is set to redefine urban living in Oman’s capital.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning unveiled the details about the project at the 4th edition of Urban October Conference and Home and Building Expo at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. Spanning an impressive 3.6 million square metres in Muscat’s northern Al Khuwair district, the iconic masterplan design was created by Zaha Hadid Architects and is expected to transform the popular area of Muscat into a vibrant new urban district.
