MUSCAT : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued two Royal decrees reading as follows:
Royal Decree No. 42/2024 on the ratification of an agreement signed in Muscat on 3 July 2024, between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) regarding the headquarters of the GCC Supreme Council Advisory Board, the Gulf Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education and the GCC Center for Translation, Arabisation and Promotion of Arabic.
Article (1) ratifies the aforesaid agreement as per the version attached to this decree.

Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
Royal Decree No. 43/2024 on the ratification of an agreement to amend the protocol attached to the agreement signed in Vienna on 7 December 2016, between the Sultanate of Oman and the International Atomic Energy Agency for the application of guarantees within the framework of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
Article (1) ratifies the aforesaid agreement as per the version attached to this decree.
Article (2) instructs the departments concerned to deposit the ratification document in accordance with its provisions.
Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
