MUSCAT : Investors can opt for any of the three convenient options to apply for the requisite investor number: visit the Muscat Clearing and Depository (MCD) website, the headquarters or the Oman Stocks app for a streamlined application process.

Download the shareholder number application form from the MCD website or obtain a copy at their physical location. Submit a copy of the valid national ID card or passport and provide a copy of the bank account information for future investment transactions.

After completing the form and gathering the required documents, submit them either electronically via the website using the electronic authentication feature (PKI) or in person at the company’s office. Follow the prompts to open a new shareholder account through the Oman Shares application.

The shareholder number serves as a unique identifier for investors within the Muscat Clearing and Depository Company, facilitating all trading transactions and maintaining a record of personal data and investment activities.

For more information, investors can visit the FSA’s official website at www.fsa.gov.om or contact the Office of Media and Communication for assistance.
