Muscat: The Health Control Department of Dhofar Municipality, in collaboration with specialists from the Directorate General of Agricultural, Fisheries, and Water Resources, inspected several businesses involved in selling live cattle, sheep, and poultry.
The inspections focused on preventing unauthorized slaughter outside certified veterinary facilities and ensuring adherence to health requirements. These visits resulted in the closure of three activities and the issuing of violations for other activities. To ensure public health, work continues to complete visits and inspection campaigns for the remaining activities.
