Muscat – As part of this campaign, the DGSM has withdrawn several gold items to verify compliance with specifications and to prevent any mixing with other metals. This action is aimed at protecting consumers and maintaining the integrity of the gold market in Oman.
The Ministry also warned that necessary actions will be taken against workshops and stores violating the relevant Royal Decree and Ministerial Decision regarding gold standards.
