Muscat: The Annual Badminton Championship, organized by the Indian Social Club Oman, is an eagerly anticipated event that brings together the club’s various wings for a competitive yet friendly tournament.
This year, 12 teams entered the team championship, showcasing talent and teamwork from different community wings. The teams that have advanced to the semifinals — Marathi Wing, Kerala Wing, Mangalorean Konkani Wing, and Social Club — represent some of the most competitive groups in the tournament.
The event is being held at the prestigious Kosmos Badminton Academy in Wadi Kabir, well-known for hosting various badminton events in Oman. The semifinals and finals will be played on September 21st. With strong contenders in the competition, fans eagerly await intense matches as the teams compete for the championship title.
