MUSCAT : As part of the banks pioneering role in lending a hand to the community, Alizz Islamic Bank recently partnered with the Ministry of Social Development and Cyber Knowledge Institute to enable 10 job seekers from social welfare families to work as dental assistants.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Asaad Al Kharusi, Chief Operating Officer of Alizz Islamic Bank on behalf of the bank, by Mr. Mahmood Al Jadidi, Assistant Manager of the Office of Social Development in Muscat on behalf of the Ministry of Social Development and Mr. Ridha Al Lawati CEO of Cyber Knowledge Institute on behalf of the institute.
This initiative comes as part of the bank’s belief that the empowerment of individuals leads to the prosperity of the societies in which we live in. The Program targeted 10 job seekers from social welfare and limited-income families through a comprehensive development program that is coupled with employment in the field of dental assistants and dressers. As part of the agreement, Alizz Islamic Bank will contribute towards training the 10 students on both financial and soft skills as value added towards their training curriculum.
