Muscat – The ruling was issued by the Court of First Instance in Salalah following a complaint filed with the Directorate General of Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) in Dhofar Governorate.
The customer alleged that the vehicle he purchased from the agency developed defects during the warranty period and that the agency refused to repair or replace it.
After investigating the complaint, the court found the agency guilty of violating the Consumer Protection Law. The law states that service providers must guarantee their services for a reasonable period of time and repair or replace defective products.
