MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has issued a Royal pardon to a number of prisoners convicted for different cases on Monday.
In a statement issued, the Royal Oman Police said His Majesty has pardoned a total of 175 prisoners including expats.
His Majesty’s Royal pardon coincides with Prophet’s birthday and in consideration of families of the prisoners.
