Muscat: Statistics from the electronic portal of Sanad Services Centers show that 608,907 services were completed through the portal, while 292,132 transactions were processed via the Oman Business Platform. The number of Sanad centers reached 913 by the end of August, offering a wide range of 370 electronic services.
Mohammed bin Salem Al-Mashaykhi, Director of the Sanad Service Centers Department, highlighted the centers’ role in streamlining procedures, which resulted in 2,433 job opportunities created up to August 2024. He noted that Muscat Governorate accounted for 48% of transactions, followed by North Al Batinah at 13% and Dhofar at 7%.
With services offered by 23 governmental and private institutions, the centers continue to meet customers’ growing needs and have attracted 6.7 million visitors.
