MUSCAT : The Salalah Cycling Tour, organized by Dhofar Municipality in collaboration with the Oman Cycling Federation and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, saw Van Werdemen dominate the stage starting from Al Hafa Market, winding through the Niyabat of Taitam and finishing at Itin Park.
Cyclist Nicolas Sisaun clinched both the gold and green jerseys with his impressive performance, while Ibrahim Al-Sabahi secured the white jersey for under-23 competitors. Mongolian rider Naglas Benjarar added a touch of international flair by winning the grey jersey.
The Salalah Tour wraps up tomorrow with its fourth stage, featuring a 133-kilometre ride from Al Mughsail to the picturesque Darbat Waterfalls under the patronage of His Excellency Dr Ahmed bin Mohsen Al Ghassani, Chairman of Dhofar Municipality.
