Muscat – To ensure a safe and secure learning environment, the CDAA has issued a series of safety tips and guidelines:
• Schools should maintain essential safety tools like fire extinguishers and smoke detectors and ensure they are in working condition.
• Before leaving classrooms or the building, students and staff should turn off and unplug electrical devices to prevent potential hazards.
• Handling laboratory equipment and chemicals requires caution. Students should follow proper procedures and remain calm during experiments.
• In case of an alarm, students should exit the building in an organised manner without crowding or pushing others and be familiar with emergency exit locations, ensuring they are unobstructed.
