MUSCAT : The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, in collaboration with the Falling Walls Foundation in Germany, announced the winners of the Falling Walls Lab Oman 2024 competition at Innovation Park Muscat.
The competition featured 20 competitors who showcased their innovative ideas to a specialized jury, culminating in the selection of three standout projects.
Taking home the First Prize, Tasnim Hilal Al Dawudi impressed the jury with her project on the Degradation of Heavy Crude Oil to Light Crude Oil Using a Multifunctional Emulsifier Organic.

Al Waleed Al Mahrabi won the second prize for his project, Breaking the Wall of Pipelines Wax Deposition, while Samiya Nasser Al Riyami, who presented the Sustainable Zulal Filter, won the third prize.
