MUSCAT : According to the Ministry, Oman’s ports welcomed a total of 5,133 ships, underscoring a strong maritime traffic and the ports’ growing significance in international trade and logistics.
The operational data for the first half of 2024 reveals:
• Volume of General and Bulk Cargo: 49,759,641 tons
• Number of Livestock: 2,539,844
• Number of Containers: 2,160,395 TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units)
• Number of Vehicles: 45,238 units
• Number of Tourists: 293,268
