Muscat: Tropical storm Asna is forecasted to continue moving westward for the next 24 hours before gradually shifting to the south-southwest. By Tuesday, September 3rd, Asna is predicted to dissipate away from South Al Sharqiyah’s coast.
“All indicators show that the tropical cyclone Asna will deviate when it reaches the gateway to the Sea of Oman tomorrow towards the south to the southwest and will not cross the coasts of the Sultanate”, assures the Director General of Meteorology at the Civil Aviation Authority Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Khadouri.
