MUSCAT : Scheduled to be held in October, this year’s event will spotlight five exceptional women visionaries whose innovative leadership and impactful work have redefined their fields.

Building on the success of its inaugural event last September, TAS Changemakers 2024 continues to spotlight individuals who have made profound impacts through their innovative leadership. The focus, this time around, is on women leaders who have crafted impactful leadership stories to inspire generations.

The grand ceremony, commemorating Omani Women’s Day on October 17, will feature a prestigious award ceremony to felicitate the chosen five, and present engaging sessions with the awardees, opening the stage for each one to share their leadership journeys and the challenges they have overcome.

This event continues TAS’s tradition of celebrating those who go beyond conventions to drive meaningful progress, with a special focus on the remarkable achievements of women in leadership roles. TAS Changemakers are individuals who have moved beyond their comfort zones to take risks and implement innovative ideas. They are leaders who prioritize people and strive to improve and support the growth of their communities.

It is pertinent to note that the first edition, held under the patronage of Her Highness Sayyida Basma Al Said, honored six distinguished individuals for their transformative contributions, including Her Highness Sayyida Hujaija Al Said, football star Ali Al Habsi, fashion designer Amal Al Raisi, Everest climber Nadhira Al Harthy, SalamAir CEO Captain Mohamed Ahmed, and BankDhofar CEO Abdul Hakeem Omar Al Ojaili.

This year, TAS is focusing exclusively on women leaders who exemplify vision and innovation, and is currently seeking nominations for these prestigious awards.

Members of the public are encouraged to nominate individuals and brands that have positively transformed their communities.
