MUSCAT : The General Secretariat of the Tender Board has invited bids for constructing a 1.5 km bridge on Rabat Street, intersecting with Al Nahda Street. This bridge is designed to ensure continuous traffic movement and significantly reduce travel distances, creating a seamless link with the existing Umm Al Ghawarif Bridge, Itin Bridge, and the future Awqad area bridge.
The bridge, which will span 2.5 km in total development, will feature three lanes in both directions, providing ample space for vehicles to move freely. Additionally, the project includes regulated entrances and exits controlled by traffic signals under the bridge, ensuring flexible and smooth access to the surrounding commercial areas.
