Muscat – This major development is set to enhance the region’s gas network capacity by 60 percent, increasing the daily capacity from 10 to 16 million cubic meters.
The CEO of OQ Gas Networks highlighted that the Saib project is designed to meet the growing demand for gas in the governorate and underscores the company’s dedication to supporting local communities and fostering economic development.
The Executive Vice President of Human Resources, Technology, and Culture at OQ Gas Networks added that the project will play a crucial role in supporting a range of developmental, economic, energy, and water initiatives. This is particularly significant given the ongoing urban expansion in Dhofar, especially during peak seasons such as the fall.
